Weve Technologies is the team behind the Wevae app, a social platform built around cities and real connections between people. It’s designed to help you stay connected as life moves, so you can keep your relationships close no matter where you go.

We care about how your data is used. Wevae is built to support connection, not track you. We avoid the kind of surveillance-style practices you see on other platforms.

Your Privacy Controls

Wevae only uses city-level location, never your exact coordinates. We don’t collect your contacts or your phone number. Wevae is built to give you full control over your experience:

  • Your location can be set automatically, chosen by you, or turned off completely.

  • Decide who can see your location, including setting different views for friends and close friends.

  • Hide your location from specific people whenever you want.

  • Even more granular privacy controls throughout every feature.

You’re always in control of your location on Wevae. We only use general, city-level location (ex. Los Angeles, US) never your exact or real-time coordinates.

You can turn off location access in your device settings whenever you want. Your account will still work, but some city-based features may be limited.

Sign in with Apple

Wevae only uses Sign in with Apple at the moment to keep things simple and secure. There’s no username or password to manage.

When you sign in, Apple verifies your identity and gives us a unique ID for your account. Depending on your settings, Apple may also share your name and email, including a private relay email if you choose.

We never see or store your Apple password, Face ID, or Touch ID data. Apple handles all of that, and their privacy practices are covered by Apple’s own policy.
